Bankruptcy Services – Members of the Eastern Audit Alliance utilize their specialized skill and knowledge by serving as litigation consultants US trustees and to the court during bankruptcy proceedings.

Business Valuations – With Certified Valuation Analysts on staff, we are equipped to provide our clients with business valuations, financial models, and specific economic and industry research.

ERISA Audits – Through its member firms the Eastern Audit Alliance provides efficient financial statement audit services for retirement plans that meet ERISA's annual reporting requirements. Our team of professionals is dedicated to benefit plan compliance and they take a proactive approach that helps avoid ERISA and/or DOL violations. We study the plan under audit, particularly the interaction between the plan sponsor and the third party administrator to ensure a smooth audit, and timely filing of the plan's annual report. The Eastern Audit Alliance also specializes in tax compliance for ERISA plans, which includes the preparation of Form 5500 and other related required filings.

Fraud Examination – The Eastern Audit Alliance provides services used to detect, deter, and prevent fraud from occurring. Through its member firms, clients are able to obtain support resolving allegations of fraud through detailed fraud examinations. In addition, clients can receive assistance developing and implementing programs designed to prevent and deter fraud.

Government Audits – We have multiple resources and trained personnel to conduct a thorough and timely audit under Government Auditing Standards of federal, state, or local governments; not-for-profit organizations; and certain for-profit organizations, Our services include providing services performed under the Single Audit Act Amendments of 1996 and OMB Circular A-133 (Single Audits), program specific audits as defined under OMB Circular A-133, and other compliance audits and attestation engagements performed as required by federal, state, or local laws and regulations.

Litigation Support –Eastern Audit Alliance provides a complete range of litigation support services. In addition to providing expert testimony, our staff works closely with our client’s litigation team to provide support as it relates to relevant tax implications, business valuations, financial damages, and forensic investigations.

Nonprofit Audits and Support – Our staff is highly trained and experienced in the not-for-profit industry, and more importantly, is equipped to provide audit and consulting services that address the unique activities of a not-for profit, including accounting for contributions and functional expense classification.

SEC Audits – For organizations that require an audit for statutory or regulatory reasons associated with the filing of their annual and periodic financial information, the Eastern Audit Alliance through its member firms can provide high quality audit services. For public companies as required by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, we conduct an integrated audit, which combines the financial statement with attestation of the effectiveness of internal control over financial reporting and management's assessment of the effectiveness of internal control over financial reporting. We can also address any specific regulatory reporting requirements such as those under Sarbanes-Oxley S404 for SEC registrants.  

Small Business Audits – If your small business is in need of audit services, we have multiple resources and trained personnel to conduct a thorough and timely audit. By obtaining this service, we are able to provide reasonable assurance that your financial statements are free from material misstatement, whether caused by error or fraud. As part of this service, we will conduct an independent review of documents, transactions, and assertions that compose the financial data of the company.

Transnational Audits – Associates of our member firms are involved extensively with the ever-growing international market. Clients whose financial statements are or may be used across national borders can obtain an audit of their financial statements with the ease of mind that the statements are presented in accordance with transnational auditing standards, and therefore will be accepted and may be utilized across borders.
